A Pecan Bourbon Ball Making Class

When you come to Kentucky, there are a few musts! One is sinking your teeth into a Kentucky Bourbon Ball. The legend has it that Rebecca Ruth originated the delicacy in 1938. But why not learn to make your own with one of Wildflower Ranch Inn's professional foodies? With this package, you will be supplied with all of the ingredients and instructions to leave with a box of 12 Kentucky Bourbon Balls. Unless you eat them all lickity-split! Please contact us when you book to schedule two 30-minute sessions. These sessions should be at least six hours apart to complete your tasty confections.

Maker's Mark Distillery Tour

Maker's Mark has one of the best and most popular distillery tours on the Kentucky Bourbon Trail. Just 13 miles from our B&B, you can be there just a few minutes to dip your own bottle at the end of a distillery tour.

Visit the Origin of Abe Lincoln

In Springfield, KY is a statue of Lincoln by California sculptor Paula B. Slater. This bronze sculpture of Abraham Lincoln, titled, "In Sacred Union", located on the plaza of the Washington County Kentucky Judicial Center looking toward the historic 1816 Courthouse. The courthouse, now houses the museum which tells the story of Abraham Lincoln’s life. The 16th president’s family lived near Springfield for nearly thirty years. His parents (Thomas Linclon and Nancy Hanks) courted near what is now the Lincoln Homestead State Park. They were married in this county courthouse.
